SnapKoi at mossimageedit.com is operated by Ray Cui, an individual based in China. This policy explains what information the site processes when you edit or generate images, buy credits, or sign in. Contact support@mossimageedit.com (support@mossimageedit.com).

SnapKoi is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or maintained by the providers of the models it uses, including OpenAI. Output is AI-generated.

Information we collect

• Account email. If you request a magic-link sign-in or buy credits, we store the email address you enter. The sign-in link is single-use and expires after 15 minutes.
• Session cookie. After you sign in, a cookie named mie_session keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. It holds a signed token, not your password (there is no password).
• Anonymous cookie and network address. The free image allowance is tracked with an httpOnly cookie named mie_anon and a hash of your IP address. We do not store the raw IP address for this purpose.
• Prompts and photos. The instruction you type, and any photo you upload, is sent to our servers so we can screen the instruction and produce the image. We do not write the photo or the finished image into our database. The result is returned to your browser for you to download.
• Credit ledger. If you have an account, we store your credit balance and a history of credit changes (purchases, generations, and refunds). The history does not include your prompt or photo.
• Payment data. Card numbers and similar payment details are collected by Waffo Pancake, the merchant of record, on Waffo Pancake's checkout page. We do not receive or store your card number.
• Abuse reports. If you use the report form, we store the email, category, and description you submit so a person can review it. We keep that record for up to a year.
• Moderation verdicts. We store the scanner's action, reason code, and request id for 90 days. We do not store the prompt text in that log.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• run the editor and return the image you asked for;
• screen prompts before generation, as described below;
• apply the free allowance and the credits you buy;
• send the sign-in email you requested;
• investigate abuse and enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy;
• respond when you email support@mossimageedit.com.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your photos or prompts to train our own model.

Prompt screening

Before an image is generated, and again before the image is shown to you, the text you typed is sent to Waffo Prompt Sift (POST https://api.waffo.ai/v1/actions/verification/scan-prompt). We send the prompt text, a language hint, and a scoring mode. We do not attach extra instructions to the prompt. Waffo says the prompt text is not kept after the check returns. If the check does not return allow, or if the check cannot be completed, we do not show an image and we do not charge a credit. A short local blocklist runs on our server as well.

Who processes data for us

• Waffo Pancake is the merchant of record for credit packs. Waffo Pancake processes the payment, tax, the customer receipt, and the Prompt Sift check. Refunds of the purchase price are requested through them.
• Resend delivers the magic-link email.
• The image provider receives the prompt and any uploaded photo in order to produce the image. The default path is an OpenAI-compatible image service, with official OpenAI as a fallback. A separate configuration can send the job to fal.ai instead.
• Upstash stores account credits, the credit ledger, and the free-allowance counters.
• Vercel hosts the site.
• Google Analytics may receive standard page-view data when analytics is enabled. You can block it with your browser.

How long we keep it

• The session cookie lasts up to 90 days, or until you sign out.
• The anonymous free-allowance cookie lasts up to one year.
• Magic-link tokens expire after 15 minutes and cannot be reused.
• Credit balances and the ledger stay while the account exists.
• Photos and generated images are not stored in our database after the request finishes.

Email support@mossimageedit.com to ask for the account data we hold, to correct the email on an account, or to delete an account and its credit ledger. Deleting an account removes unused credits. A purchase refund, if one is due, is still handled by Waffo Pancake.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Sexual content involving minors is illegal; do not attempt to generate it.

International processing

The operator is based in China. The companies listed above may process information in other countries, including the United States. By using the site you understand that your information is processed in those places.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
