- Use fewer colors for flat logos, but keep some spare. A logo with 3 colors on a transparent background usually needs 8. If a color is missing in the preview, raise the number.
- Use High detail when the logo has small text or thin lines. The file gets larger.
- Use a PNG with a transparent background. A busy background becomes extra shapes.
- Ask for a flat design with solid colors when you generate the logo. Gradients and soft shadows trace badly.
- Check the result at full size before you use it. Fine text may need to be redrawn by hand.
